Anza Borrego Desert

Encinitas/Leucadia to Anza Borrego
Lake Hodges Dam
Although the lake is full,
it's not spilling over the dam

The last storm dumped snow on the high country

In fact, many tourists are in Julian,
to enjoy a rare snow in San Diego County

By mid afternoon we reach the Stagecoach Trails RV Resort. It's spacious and clean. We love it.

Desert landscaping, designed by Mother Nature

Although we know there are ancient grinding stones used by the native Indians in this area, it takes us awhile to find them.

The next morning as we head out towards Arizona, we discover Agua Caliente Hot Springs County Park complete with several hot pools and a swimming pool.
Next trip, we'll try staying here.
